On July 29th, Sahaja Yoga celebrated Realize America Day with many Self-Realization events across the country. Realize America Tour travelled along the West Coast in July-August to bring the amazing discovery of Sahaja Yoga to your doorstep.

Utah events lined up for the Realize America Day much in advance, as Sahaja Yogis prepared dedicatedly for the Sahaja Yoga awareness drive.

After setting of the tent with self-made banners and posters, on Sunday July 23, on a hot day, Sahaja Yogis were all set for a Realize America Week ahead, an awareness project for the US Sahaja Yoga Collective.

Day 1, Monday July 24

A Sahaja Yoga stall at the Native American Celebrations at the Liberty Park, Salt Lake City. A one day fair with approx 60,000 people the day was a success with fifty three people getting their self realization at the booth. Hundreds were handed over the flyers and information. A motivated UT Collective team worked together, from 12 pm till 10 pm, viewing the fair end with beautiful firecrackers on Utah’s Pioneer Day. The event was a big success!

With the wind at a high speed setting the tent for the next RA event was tricky. But Sahaja Yogis were willing and all motivated from the previous day’s experience!

Day 3, Wednesday July 26

A Sahaja yoga booth at the Utah County Fair at the Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, was a 4 day event. The1st day had 12 new seekers to the stall taking their self realization. Many showed interest and were given the Sahaja Yoga information leaflets. Shrimataji’s Maya cooled the soaring high temperatures, to suddenly a windy full day. With chairs and the tent flying, Sahaja Yogis somehow managed to get the stall to shape!

Day 4, Thu, July 27

Next day at the Lehi Fair, again showed a motivated SY team trying to build the stall together right from 10 am. Seekers started to show up as it neared the evening. Six new Utahans learnt about Kundalini awakening & vibratory awareness. A lot of vendors showed interest & took SY info. Little Balshakti was seen handing out the SY center info flyers to the people.

Day 5, Friday July 28

From a carnival, hotdogs, and funnel cakes to contests, entertainment, exhibits it was all at the Utah County Fair! Friday began a little late in the evening around five for the SY team. Four new seekers came to the booth for their realization as many signed up the sign up sheets for interest.

Day 6, Sat, Realize America Day

A Sahaja Yogi team began working from noon, setting up the booth for the big awareness day. SY’s were seen in connect yourself tees and badges saying ‘Ask me about Sahaja Yoga’. As the temperatures cooled towards the evening flocks of people were seen coming, showing interest in meditation and amazed at getting their spiritual accent in just 10 minutes! 14 new seekers got their SR and vibrations flowed all over. Many signed up and were interested in coming to the library to learn more. With a thunderstorm around 8 in the evening six people learning more on the technique were seen running across the streets in a heavy rain shower! It was an eventful RA day for the Utah Yogis.

Day 7, Sunday, July 30

Realize America Week’s last event happened at the SLC Library, where yogis hold regular SY meetings. 10 seekers turned in looking to learn a unique meditation technique. Some were follow-ups some were absolutely new. With one thing in common, a pure desire!

An American awakening, July 29, was celebrated as RA Day all over the USA. Utah Yogis sprung out in action and a record 95 people got their self awakening free during a week long events. Collectively a sleeping energy, Kundalini, was awakened during these events. Sahaja Yogis Namit, Sourabh, Ashwin, Priti, Navita, Anushka and Deven actively participated to make Realize America week a success in Utah.
