Realize America Tour - Day 7

We had a wonderful sleep at Mikes house. It was place truly made of enthusiasm Nishi says. It was wonderfully perched upon a picturesque and earthly land; with wonderful hues, trees, and gardens. It was an artistic treasure with all the works and we were welcomed like family coming back from a long journey. As usual, the food at this place was offered with love and in bountiful quantities for our satisfied Nabhis. Mike was intentional with his generosity, and we felt quite at home. That night we met with our super-organized, delightful and loving - Uri. He prepared all the details, chairs and all program essentials. Now we were off to the Cincinnati gem the Fountain Square, which was an elevated, charming, piece of landscape decorated with a huge rounded fountain with a mountain-high statue of a woman whose hands stretched outwards with water pouring out from her palms reminding me of Faribas loving hands full of vibrations. I met a lovely man who talked a lot about his life and his struggles with seeking, and explained his urge to keep trying. An interesting thing occurred when a horse with a police man went out of control it, being guided by the police man in all logic, had careened and knocked into our chairs that sat in front of a sandwich board for the program, as if almost wanting to take a seat. Denis joked with painting an image of the horse sitting and offering its hooves out for realization. Then off to the tallest building in Cincinnati. Up to the forty-fifth floor and then up three flights to the observatory, which was especially made to enjoy the sights of the whole city from all angles. The view was of a long drop and a beautiful sight of the bridges and structures that were dear to the citizens of Cincinnati. We took the sahaj opportunity to use the increased altitude for our advantage and chant the allah oo akbar mantra for our vishuddhis. Some of us could actually see vibrations cast into the sky from the connection with the love of the divine. Then off to the public meeting in a lovely and cozy hall with tall ceilings and soft carpeting.

At this point Dennis, worked on me understandingly pulling me up from my day. Here, Shri Mataji, spoke enthusiastically with wit and humor in one of her 1980 talks, which really struck and captured the truths in her speech about American peoples and what really matters: respect for your family, child upbringing, and love. I really liked this refreshing talk. As well, a few people from our street realization program came to participate. One man named Hans had even come to join us at Mikes home to understand more about the love of Sahaj. We had watched a humorous cartoon flick with some lovely and wholesome lasagna. We ended the day with an out pouring of vibrations with a collective baghans with many drums. The vibrations seemed to come from deep within our hearts reflecting within us. It was another day of learning and enjoyment for all.

Realize America Tour - Day 6

Thursday morning came bustling noise of waking aunties. We were a little groggy since last night had been a late night. It was seven-thirty and a small group of us were going to go ahead and leaflet before the others came. Julia, auntie Nishi, uncle Prashant, Uncle Kevin and I volunteered to go.

So we got into our little car and drove 20 minutes to downtown. When we arrive were completely flabbergasted by the citys creative architecture. First we tackle a coffee store and kill two birds with one stone by using the toilet and giving them a poster of Sahaja Yoga. The second store clerks get their realization right on the spot. They promise to come by as soon as they get a break. Even the nearby church is gifted with a thick stack of sahaja pamphlets.

After two hours of vigorous postering we joined the rest of the group at the park. When we arrived we noticed how full the seats were. Throughout the day there were always new people meditating, or learning about their kundalini. While some of the yuvas gave realization and played drums the rest of us passed out pamphlets to passer Byers. We were on the prowl for seekers. Throughout the day we stumbled across a few interesting characters. There was the businessman who spontaneously joined the yuva boys drumming. He created an African beat that got us, across the street, dancing. We also met Clint whod joined in the drumming as well. Clint had just gotten his realization ten minutes ago.

So the day progressed and we decided to take walks around the city. Right before we left a group of us went to get some ice cream but when we saw the dark clouds we reconsidered. Whilst turning around the rain fell on us with the motivation of a working shower. We scrambled to get under some sort of shelter but still got soaked.

We got home (Tapasyas house) wet and tired but after a good bit of idle time we were ready to get packing.

On our way to getting ready we faced a sudden twist in our plot. Clint, the fellow from before, would be joining us on the tour. This sudden bit of information got us all in a circle checking vibrations. Clints inclusion on the tour was green lighted and we very comfortably packed the car. We did have a re-birthday party for our new addition right before we left.

That night wed decided to travel boys with boys and girls with girls. Our car was like a girls slumber party. We played mafia games with intricate storylines (with clowns and cowboys). When we arrived to Uncle Mikes house in Cincinnati we were greeted with a delicious dinner and a fantastic tour of his lovely house. Every room is a different shade of yellow! After meditating we slowly made our way to bed. The day was full and most of us fell asleep instantly.

Today Clinton from Indianapolis joins us.
