Realize America Tour - Day 5

July 2nd, 2007 by Denis | Comments Closed

We all woke up from our nights rest in Deloress St. Louis home. We all packed and left in the morning for Simon and Anjanis house. This house is also in St. Louis. At Uncle Simons house we had breakfast and had a meditation with raga music. We then left for downtown St. Louis were that beautiful famous arch is. We reached downtown St. Louis near the arch, where we set up for street realization in a park setting. The police in the area told us that we needed a permit for realization in the park. We quickly got a permit for giving self realization near the arch. The permit allowed only six people to be active in giving self realization. But this did not stop all of us from joining in. The other yogis besides the six allowed by the permit, played Sahaj music near the self realization area. While the flow of seekers came to get their realization, the music of the yogis flowed as well. The seekers in St. Louis can be very sincere. I worked on one of the seekers who seemed to be going deep within himself. I silently worked and asked him to feel the vibrations on the top of his head. After the meditation he bounced backed up and was excited and fresh in attitude. It is nice to see someone changed instantly by Sahaja Yoga. He said he felt the vibrations and that his mind was at ease.

The atmosphere by the arch was very nice and peaceful. The arch was like a giant bandhan for the city. It seems to be the tallest structure in the city. The arch is like the auspicious shape of the horseshoe. The arch added by a circler rainbow around the sun on this day was very pleasing. After giving realization we sat down to eat the scrumptious food made by Anjani aunty. The sky at this time gave indication of coming rains. But the present feeling in the atmosphere did not give clear signs when. When we were just starting to pack up, a heavy, monsoon-like rain came down. These cooling rains during a hot summer day, were very nice after having worked on the seekers. We were singing and playing music in the rain, and having a grand time. Again the arch was made beautiful with the wave-like motion of the rain. I was enjoying the rain so much that I was singing Bathe in the Waters so it would rain more. I hoped that there could be a swimming pool from the rain to swim in. We reached in the van and head off to Indianapolis, Indiana, where our next destination awaited. During the car ride to Indiana we saw flashes of lightning for most the four to five hour ride. We arrived in Indianapolis around midnight where many of the yogis from the collective greeted us. We enjoyed the meal prepared by the yogis there. It was a very joyful day.
