Realize America Tour – Day 8

Today we gave self realization in Findley market in Cincinnati. We had a good amount of room for self realization at the market. The market was full of people, and many people came over to get their self realization. While some of the yuvas were giving self realization, others were back at Michaels house packing up for our next destination. When I arrived there I was surprised to see a street musician performing in front of our booth that I had seen yesterday at the other self realization site. I had asked him yesterday if he wanted to meditate, but he said that he already meditates. I kept talking to him though, and we had a nice conversation about music and other things. It was a nice coincidence to see him at our booth again. Since we were planning to play bhajans I asked if he wanted to play along. He played the western flute along with our bhajans. Another amazing thing is that the other day at the self realization site we saw a policeman riding on a horse. The horse seemed attracted to the booth and even ran into the chairs which were setup for meditation. A saw this same horse strolling in front of our booth the next day at this market. It had stopped near our booth and people were petting it.
The people at the market were very interested in the meditation as they walked by and there was a flow of people at the booth. Some of the yuvas and adults played bhajans for most of the time at the market.
One time I wanted to take a break from the music and saw a young girl sitting at the booth and no one was working on her or talking to her.
She already had her hands out, and her parents were video taping her sitting there. I decided to work on her. I had her ask for her self realization from the divine and I worked on her. Her vibrations were very good and she was very quiet. It is always nice when people have such a strong pure desire at a young age.
After the fair all the yogis met up to go to Eden Park where Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi had visited when coming to Cincinnati. We had a footsoak there in a man made lake with a water fountain in the center. We also had a delicious lunch on the parks grass. On this day a few new people came to join the tour; Pragya, Chetna, aunty Prerna from Texas and Matthew from Ohio. After lunch we head over to Uncle Armin’s and Aunty Melanie’s bakery. The bakery had beautifully designed desserts which tasted as good they looked. Uncle Armin let the yogis treat themselves to a tray full of professional grade desserts. After eating these desserts we were very satisfied.
After eating at the bakery we head off to Aunty Tracys place in Pittsburgh. When we arrived at Aunty Tracys place, we were greeted by some of the local yogis who were preparing a meal for us. Many of the yogis were enjoying reading the many Amir Chitra Katha comic books there, and others were enjoying playing the piano and singing musicals. After a great meal, Aunty Tracy showed us some miracle photos taken of the city and the rivers. The day ended with a nice meditation with an early talk from Shri Mataji.
